Apr. 15, 2019 - On Mar. 31, New materials’ industrial park project of Sinosteel Refractory (Yichuan) launched constructing in Pengpo town, Yichuan county, Luoyang city, Henan province, which marks a big progress towards refractories industrial transformation and upgrade of Luoyang.

Total investment of this project is 2 billion CNY with land coverage of 800 mu. It is expected to build up premium production lines for internationally competitive refractories of 300 thousand tons of high-quality alumina products, ecology-friendly new materials, high-purity oxidation products and functional refractories products per annum. The estimated annual output value is 2.3 billion CNY when project construction is finished. Phase 1 project plans to build up environmental-friendly production lines for silica refractories with annual production capacity of 100 thousand tons. One production line of 50 thousand tons will be done at the end of Oct. and another with same production capacity will be finished in 2020.
